Class Descriptions

American Tribal Style Belly Dance (ATS) Level 1 – Beginners to this style of dance! This is based on the Fat Chance Belly Dance and techniques. You will learn all the basic skills needed to be able to preform with the troupe at events. This is where you will learn the group improvisational style.

American Tribal Style Belly Dance (ATS) Level 2 - We take from Fat Chance Belly Dance techniques learned Level 1 and build your vocabulary . You will combos,formations and zils to put it into improve dance. Plus a routine that you will be able perform in this group or solos. Prerequisite go though Level 1 first.

Tribal Style Belly Dance Level 3 - This is a Gypsy Caravan style of Tribal Belly Dance. Gypsy Caravan has different movement vocabulary with Right and Left sides to each move. Please do L1 and L2 class so you understand the different's styles. This class will be fast pace. We will be only doing Gypsy Caravan moves in this class to get the muscle memory for this new vocabulary.

After finishing the levels, you will have all of Fat Chance Belly Dance vocabulary and all of Gypsy Caravan vocabulary so you can dance with any true tribal group across the US no matter which style they follow! Thank you for your support and we look forward to dancing with you soon! Namaste!

Tribal Muses Troupe - The Professional group. This is by approval/invite to join the troupe members Are confident in the improve styles, plus prop work: finger cymbals/percussions,drums, and swords. Musicians welcome here!

We also allow drumming to be apart of the classes and offer private drum lessons.
